In Honor of Our Founder and Friend
Susan O. Binns

It is with profound sadness that we commemorate the passing of our esteemed founder, board chairman, and dear friend, "SOB."  Susan's visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the people we serve not only shaped recovery housing in Tennessee but will continue to impact the national recovery landscape in perpetuity.

Our Mission

TN-ARR seeks to promote the advancement of high-quality recovery housing across Tennessee by cultivating a network of safe, accountable, and supportive recovery residences that empower individuals on their journey to long-term recovery. We are dedicated to elevating the standards of recovery housing through education, training, and advocacy, ensuring that every person seeking recovery has access to a living environment that nurtures their goals and well-being.

Why Get Certified?

There's no substitute for experience, and a TN-ARR certification represents decades of recovery housing that has been distilled into the current Standards and Best Practices by the National Alliance of Recovery Residences.  Even if a certification didn't come with a community of like-minded operators, ongoing training, educational opportunities, being listed on the affiliate directory and compliance with state law, it still offers residents who are seeking safe, supportive housing the best opportunity for life-long recovery.
